In the period from March 1 to March 7, 2024, the World Youth Festival will be held in the Olympic Park on the federal territory of Sirius. The World Youth Festival is the largest event to be held in Russia in 2024 by Decree of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin in order to develop international youth cooperation. Applications for participation are accepted on the official website of the festival until November 4, 2023 for Russian citizens, and for foreign citizens — until December 1, 2023.
About twenty thousand people are planning to attend the Youth Festival in Sochi 2024. The participants of the festival are activists and representatives of business, media, education, science, international cooperation, culture, volunteering and charity, sports and other spheres. For the first time, teenagers aged 14 to 17 will be able to join the large—scale festival movement - 500 from Russia and 500 from abroad. 5 thousand volunteers from all over Russia will take part in the Festival events.

It is important to note that the Festival will not be limited to the main venue. Young people from other countries who, for whatever reason, will not be able to visit Sirius in person will be able to become part of the Festival online, and interaction with such participants will continue on a systematic basis after the World Youth Festival.
From March 10 to 17, 2024, the regional program of the World Youth Festival will be held, during which foreign participants will visit 30 cities of Russia and get acquainted with the history and multinational Russian culture, visit iconic memorable places and large industrial technological enterprises.
